Delete your account and data

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data directly in the app:

1. Open HeirLore and sign in.
2. Go to Settings → Account.
3. Tap Delete account.
4. Type to confirm when prompted. Your account is then permanently deleted.

This action is immediate and irreversible.

Deleting your account permanently and irreversibly removes all of your personal data from our systems, including:

• Your account and profile information (name, email, profile photo)
• Your voice recordings and any attached photos
• Story titles, transcripts, and AI-generated summaries
• Extracted people, places, and dates
• Family group membership details
• Subscription and billing records

No account or personal data is retained after deletion. Deleted data cannot be recovered.

If you want to remove specific content without deleting your account, you can delete individual stories and their recordings at any time from within the app — open a story and choose delete. This removes that story, its audio, transcript, summary, and photos.

If you can no longer sign in to the app, you can still request deletion of your account and data by email. Write to us from the email address associated with your account so we can verify your identity:

We will verify your request and permanently delete your account and associated data within 30 days.
